High-Pressure Receiver

High-pressure receivers provide the main source of liquid refrigerant for a refrigeration system.

High-pressure receiver can be sized to store additional refrigerant as needed to minimize the effect of system transients. Frick offers both Vertical (VR) and Horizontal (HR) receivers and they are available in various sizes and lengths to meet your system’s needs.

Designed, fabricated, and certified to the ASME Boiler and pressure vessel code and the manufacturer’s data reports registered with the National Board.
High-quality, corrosion-resistant, long-lasting primer, and topcoat paint system with a high-gloss finish.
250 psi standard design pressure. 300 psi on 24 in. and smaller diameter vessels. Other design working pressures are available.

Features

Standard design MDMT is -20°F; For larger diameter vessels, diameters greater than 96 in., standard MDMT is selected for each application and is subject to ASME Code requirements.
Customizable nozzle orientations, elevations, distances, and sizes.

Post-weld heat treatment of ammonia duty vessels is standard, with the option not to heat treat.
